PLANNING

Given the widely-varying risk scenarios that our clients face, we find it is necessary to carefully plan our designs to match each client’s risk.  We have clients with very high-risk operations, who are willing to place emphasis on engineering and project management to virtually eliminate any chance of down time.  We also have clients with lower-risk operations, that cannot justify the intensive engineering and project management time that may be required of extreme high-risk projects.  Indeed, we have clients with both high and low risk areas in their facilities and are willing to invest more or less in high-reliability systems based on the different problems faced in each area.

In planning, we go through a process of budgeting a design and then, in house, break it apart into a scheduled sequence which each client can fiscally manage.

During the design phase, our project management team verifies that details are not missed to ensure that reliability is maintained and the construction process is seamless.

We can also provide support to the operations staff in maintaining and periodically testing to verify that the high reliability designed into the system, built in the field, and tested during project turnover is maintained throughout the life of the facility.

High-reliability systems design is achieved through experience, careful planning and follow through with the details.
